Following a nomadic childhood, Katherine moved to New York to attend NYU and now calls the city home. Post-graduation, she worked in consulting, serving non-profit agencies, until 2009, when she traded NYC for the Democratic Republic of Congo to pursue her interest in international relief and development. Returning from DRC she has a renewed love for this dynamic city. She now works at a NY-based international development group, and enjoys spending her free time running, reading & traveling.
