Sylvia is Education Officer at Concern Worldwide US and manages a global education program that empowers US youth to explore global issues and take action against poverty. Raised in Canada, Sylvia received her BA and BEd at Queen's University. She moved to New York in 2005 to pursue her MA at Teachers College and has worked in classrooms from Kindergarten to college in the last 10 years. Sylvia lives in Brooklyn with her husband and enjoys food, fashion, photography, and travel.
