Erik is an actuary at New York Life Insurance Company where has worked since moving to New York City in 2005. Erik was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI and is a graduate of the University of Memphis, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. In his spare time, Erik enjoys rooting for Detroit sports teams and traveling the globe with his wife, Cathy.
