Haejin was born and raised in Korea and came to U.S. in high school. After moving to NYC for college, she fell in love with the city and made it home. She received her BA in Psychology & Urban Politics from Barnard College, Columbia University and her JD from Brooklyn Law School. She is an attorney practicing civil litigation, and serves on the Board of Directors of Open Hands Legal Services, Inc. She enjoys theater, reading, and yoga, and is a fan of the International Justice Mission.
